Become a Reviewer for NASA STEM Engagement Proposals

According to the NIH, being a reviewer can “expand…credentials and contribute to the scientific process” in addition to helping faculty formulate research applications.

The success of the peer review process depends on the willingness of qualified reviewers to share their time and expertise generously. Peer review helps NASA to make wise investments in informal education with broad input from the informal education community. To implement peer review, our office depends upon our reviewer community. We solicit these reviews from respected informal educators from across the Nation. Their experience and up-to-date knowledge enable them to provide helpful advice to us on the merits of proposals and constructive comments to proposers that strengthen their projects.

NASA Office of STEM Engagement is recruiting qualified reviewers for external peer reviews of proposals submitted to education proposal opportunities. Qualified reviewers are invited to express their qualifications, interest and availability by registering here.
