How to Effectively Respond to Peer Reviews - Reviewer Zero
How does the peer review system work? What strategies can you use to effectively respond to peer reviews?
This online, self-paced, and free module is developed to help trainees (e.g., undergrad and graduate students) in psychology and neuroscience-related fields to learn more about the process (~50 min).
In the module, we’ll discuss the general process of publishing and peer reviews, as well as strategies for dissecting and responding to reviewer comments. Throughout, you’ll have opportunities to complete short exercises, answer questions, and get templates and resources for future reference.
You’ll also be asked if you are interested in participating in a research study “Workshop Evaluation: Responding Effectively to Reviews” (IRB # 2025-1173; Researcher: Dr. Franki Kung; fkung@purdue.edu; 765-494-8027). If you agree to participate, it’ll allow the researcher to analyze your responses entered in the online module for research purposes.
